3rd grade and Liberty Park

Often I find myself in awe, wondering how we got to this very moment, among a million others!
It doesnt matter how we got here, the important part is that we are here and we are happy and together!

I am a little blown away that my little boy is in 3rd grade.

They grow up way too fast. Soon I will be saying the same thing as Gray goes into 3rd grade.

This weekend Jared went to a coaches conference all day on Saturday. I decided to take the boys to play. We went and got some lunch and went to Liberty Park.

Grant didnt want to go and was being ornery at first, but we ended up having so much fun!

Look at those cute little Booboo footprints!

I love this little splash park they have within the park! It is so much fun and such a great idea!

We went on an adventure together!!

And Grant climbed the "canyon"

Then we went over and went on the rides!! Gray went on the planes 3 times and was so mad when I made him get off!

Dispite the look on Gray's face, they both loved the ferris wheel.

Gray went on these cars twice and here you can see he is mad it is over!

Grant liked the ferris wheel so much he went on it again by himself!
We had so much fun, just wish dad could have been there!

Cousin fun!!

Grant and Grayson both love Talon and Kyrie so much!

This week I wanted to take Grant to Cowabunga Bay and I knew it would be boring with just me and Grayson. So we took T&K with us!

Talon isnt afraid of anything!

Kyrie isnt afraid of anything!

They both really help Grant come out of his little shell!

He was so proud he went on the BIG slides!!
(and he loved it and wanted to go again)

Grayson liked the little slide and he wanted to go over and over!

Talon is so good with Grayson! And Grayson just loves him! It is so cute!

Friday night we went to the movie in the park. It was a boring movie but we still had fun!

CUTE!!

Love these boys!!!

And my hubby!!

Grayson ate so much popcorn I thought he might pop!

This is just a cute random picture of Gray with BBQ sauce all over him. He just got done eating ribs with daddy!

Grant at 8

I have been meaning to do this post for about a month now. So here it is!
It is so crazy that my son is 8 years old. Where have the last 8 years gone?

Grant is a little bit bipolar sometimes. He can be so super sweet and he can also be a terror sometimes. I think right now he is testing his limits a bit with Jared and I, trying to figure out just how far he can push us. He is very sassy lately. But he can also be very helpful around the house and with his brother. He is a mommy's boy during the day and a daddy's boy in the evening when Jared is home. I love my Grant loves during the day!!
Grant is an amazing big brother and he loves Grayson so much, they play great together and sometimes Grant can be a little bit of a tease! When Grayson cries for any reason Grant will run to his rescue with hugs and kisses and he can always make Gray giggle!?
Grant loves sports, all sports! Anything to do with sports! His favorites are football and baseball!
Grant is very smart. He is good at math and a great speller. He also has a really good vocabulary.
Grant gets along with any one. He is great with the little boys who live close to us, and he also has several friends who are 3-4 years older than him. He enjoys spending time with adults as well!
Grant has some issues with anxieties and fears. He is very cautious about some situations, but we have been working really hard to overcome some of these things.
Grant is a little fish this year, which is a big change from last year. He loves going to the pool, going under the water, jumping in, and diving for things. It is awesome!
Grant is super excited to start playing football!

    Watching the parade!
Grant and Grayson both loved the policemen on motorcycles and the fire engines!

These two are best little buddies! Although Grant can sometimes be quite a tease, most of the time they play so well together  and they just love each other to pieces!

Grant is such a good big brother, he says, "Mom, Grayson would love that train. Can I please take him on it?"

They are so stinking cute I cant get over it!

Grant loves the super slippery slide!

After the parade and the carnival, we went to the movie in the park. They showed Happy Feet 2. It was pretty cute, but mostly we just had fun with our cute boys!

I had taken Grant earlier in the day to go get some treats!

We got dinner and camped out waiting for the movie to start.
Once the movie started Grayson surprised me, he sat through the entire movie and really enjoyed it. He was so cute, on the parts that the penguins were dancing he would tap his feet or bob his head along with the music. He had a lot of fun! And of course we loved watching him have fun!

Grant enjoyed the movie until he lay down on my lap and fell asleep. When the movie was over he was so dead asleep we had a really hard time waking him up. He is such a deep sleeper, it took us about 15 minutes of really trying before we could get him awake enough to walk to the car.
It was a lot of fun though! I cant wait to do it again!

The morning of the 4th we got up early and watched the kids parade here in Daybreak!

Have I mentioned I LOVE LIVING IN DAYBREAK!!

We had a pancake breakfast in the park! Which was really fun and yummy!

Here is my little animal on the table! Crazy boy!

Just like his dad and his brother, he is a bacon lover!

They had a firetruck and a police K9 unit there.

Grant and Grayson both thought that was so cool!

Grant got to drive and even got to spray the hose, unfortunately I didnt get a picture of that!

It was a really fun morning!

After a long nap, we went to Maama and Papas!

Here is my cute little puppy!

And my other cute little puppy!

After it cooled off a bit outside we went out and played some games in the backyard!

Everyone joined in, even Jared, and it was a lot of fun! I won 5 games in a row!! 2 in racko and 3 in UNO!

My super fly love! He is the best! Love him to death!

At my parents you can see a good portion of the south end of the valley from their backyard. I have never in my life seen so many fireworks before. This year they were every where and there were a ton! They just kept going, for close to an hour. Grant is not all that interested in fireworks, but Grayson loved them.
We had a really great Holiday, as we always do!!
