Summer fun!

Made homemade sidewalk chalk for the kids!
Grant liked it!

Gray loved it!

I love them!

We had fun!

And here is our masterpiece!

We went to Seven Peaks today!

Grant was an absolute fish!

Probably went down the slides 50 times!

Grayson had tons of fun with mom and dad in the kiddie pool!

We all had fun being together in the wa-wa and the sun!

We were there for about 4 and a half hours.

And then Gray hit a wall (got super tired) so we headed home!
SO MUCH FUN!!!

Baseball, swimming, and shishies!!

Baseball is over and I am super sad! I really loved going to the games and watching Grant and Jared!

Grant really grew and improved this year! He may not be the very best on the team, but he is up there with the best! He had fun and learned a lot!

I am so proud of him!!!

Thank you so much to everyoe who came out and supported him. Big thank you to Craig and Christine, and Maama and Papa, and Meaghan, who were his biggest supporters this season. He may not always show it, but he loves it when you come to his games and he definitely looks forward to it!! I really loved watching a relationship form between Grayson and Aunt Meaghan throughout the season! We sure do love her!

And a HUGE thank you to Uncle Coco!!! Not only for being there for Grant, but also for being there for Jared all season! Cody's support and commitment meant a lot to all of us. He was there for all the games and only missed a couple practices due to work obligations. Cody is a great brother, an amazing Uncle and friend to my boys, and although Gray is a little young I know that Grant truly does look up to him! I hope Cody knows how much we all love him!

I can not wait until next season!!
Bring on the football now!

Grayson was super duper sick this last week, which I will have to blog about later. But I am happy to report he is back to his crazy happy self!!

We have been spending a ton of time at the pool the summer. After a week of being stuck at home with Grayson we were definitely ready to get back to it. So we packed up a lunch and headed to the kiddie pool.

We had never tried the kiddie pool before. It is not as close to our house, meaning not within walking distance, and Grant didnt think it would be fun. But I talked Grant into going to check it out.

Well turns out both kids loved it!!! And I loved it because Gray can touch anywhere in the pool and he doesnt have to hang around my neck like a monkey the entire time. It wasnt busy at all and I just sat on the side of the pool and sunbathed!!

Grant is a little fish this year and I am loving it!!
Today I took the kids to the aquarium and it was a lot of fun! They have changed a lot of things since the last time we went so that was cool.

Grayson just LOVED all the shishies!! He would just sit there and stare at them, and wave and say Hi shishies! It was so much fun to watch him enjoy it so much!!

And he really loved the penguins and the otters.

A quick update!

Grant and Kyrie always have so much fun together and they were both super excited to start the summer off with a sleepover!

At the pool, having fun!

The next day we got up and went to watch Kyrie's soccer game. Grayson wasnt too into the game but he was having fun outside playing!
(SPIRIT FINGERS!!)
On Memorial Day we went to visit Cory. Grayson was named after Cory and I love this picture of him with the pretty flowers and the mountains in the background. I wish my boys could have known Cory the way they know Ian and Micah. I know how important Ian, Cory, and Mich are to Jared.
Jared has a hard time going to Cory's grave site, he still misses him immensely. He talks about him all the time and I love to hear the stories of when they were younger!
He didnt want his picture taken, but I couldnt pass this up and I am glad I captured this!

After visiting Cory we went on a family adventure up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
How cute are these boys? I am one very lucky wife and Mama Bear!

These two have the most amazing love and bond between them!

There was still snow on the ground, but it was nice and warm and beautiful. We had a lot of fun together!

We have been spending sooo much time at the ball park. It has been so much fun! Jared is an amazing coach and I have realized this season how great he really is and how much he cares. He has a great love of the game and he also forms a bond with each one of the boys on his team. He is not only a coach to them, but a mentor and a friend! They really look up to him and I am very proud of him!

Grayson also loves spending time at the ball park. He is so funny! He loves to cheer for the boys and especially Grant. He will yell out all kinds of things throughout the game! Some of the things he will yell:
Come on everybody!
Hit it!
GO! GO! GO!
Run!
You're out!
Go boys!
He is such a good little cheerleader!

Grant is really loving baseball this season! I am so proud of him. He has really improved through the season and he has made a lot of great friends!

We went to the Herriman rodeo and it was a lot of fun! Grayson really loved it!

I took the boys right down by the gate and they thought that was really neat. Especially Gray, he kept waving and saying "Hi horsey" it was really cute!

We had Ian, Monica, and Micah over for the Bradley/Pacquiao fight. We ordered pizza and had a lot of fun!

Jared and I on our way to the Nickelback concert!

Jared, Tyson, and I at the concert! It was a great concert!

My little stud at the pool!

Grayson has been taking swim lessons! He is doing pretty well and gets better every time we go!

Grant really wanted to have a lemonade stand and we didn't have anything to do it with, so we went to the thrift store and bought this little TV stand thingy. Then we went to Hobby Lobby and Grant picked out the colors he wanted it to be. Then we went to the dollar store and got everything else we would need. (cups, lemonade, candy, etc..)

After a lot of sanding, priming, taping, and painting this is what we made together! Grant is very proud of it and the fact that he helped!

These are only a few of the fun things we have done so far this summer!
